THINC FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM
THINC, stands for Technology, Humanity, Inclusion, Nurture, Changemaker,
is a 12-month fellowship program that brings together a community of 56 selected future changemakers from around the world, to share ideas and spark intellectual conversations about technology and humanity over virtual meetings every month throughout the year.
Background
Technology has greatly improved our quality of life. However, it has also gradually deprived us of the patience to create genuine connections and appreciate life's little moments. When human interaction is reduced to spiritless correspondence behind the screens; when information cocoons have increasingly trapped us in our confined narrow views; when anti-globalization has further exacerbated the hatred and the divide between nations and cultures, does technology truly make us happier and more informed?
Perhaps, it's time that we return, to the core needs, as human beings, and to the contemplation of life itself. How can we leverage technology to better serve human happiness? How can we facilitate genuine connections between people and cultures? How can we bring the increasingly atomized individuals back to dialogues in a post-COVID-19 era?

What's THINC ?
THINC (stands for Technology, Humanity, Inclusion, Nurture, Changemaker) is a 12-month fellowship program that brings together a community of 50+ selected global changemakers, primarily outstanding young professionals, entrepreneurs, researchers, artists, and diplomats from around the world, to share ideas and spark intellectual conversations about technology and humanity over virtual meetings every month throughout the year. If you are an aspiring and driven student community leader, you are also eligible to apply! The program is inclusive and we welcome leaders with various backgrounds!
Through dialogues that are cross-culture and cross-discipline, we aim to create an intellectual and spiritual haven for young people who care deeply about the future of humanity in the technological era, who are capable of perceiving the world through a different lens, intellectually and culturally, and who are willing to make an impact by taking real actions.
Towards the end of the program, we will host an offline summit for all the fellows to meet in person, spending a few days together and building lifelong connections. The summit is scheduled to take place in China during the summer of 2022 if the COVID-19 situation allows.
