Hungary Executive Director at APEC E-Commerce Business Alliance, Vice President at Grae Matta Foundation David Kovacs has spent over a decade in Asia and Europe working with governments, international organizations, and industry-leading companies, focusing on investment and innovation. He earned an MBA from Oxford University and studied VC & PE at Columbia Business School. Before his current role, he was Director of one of the largest State-Owned Enterprises in Chengdu, China, being the first European to serve in such a role in Western China. David is passionate about sustainability, mental health, and social impact. He serves on the board of numerous NGOs, is a member of the B20 Digitalization Task Force, is actively involved in Startup mentoring, and is a regular speaker at international forums and guest lecturer at Business Schools.
