Koh Kit Shaun Tommy
Singapore
Civil Servant and Chair of the St Gallen Symposium Singapore Chapter
Tommy Koh is a Civil Servant from Singapore presently working as Senior Assistant Director at the ASEAN Division of Singapore's Ministry of Trade and Industry. As a trade official, he negotiates services commitments across ASEAN's free trade agreements in addition to charting out Singapore's approach to regional economic cooperation. With new and emerging technologies redefining the services sector and future of work, Tommy is especially interested in how technological developments will impact global trade, particularly in the areas of labor mobility and the creation of economic value. Tommy is actively developing the concept of services facilitation as the next bound of regional services collaboration to enhance how we live, work, move, and play.
Beyond the public sector, Tommy chairs the St Gallen Symposium Singapore Chapter, which brings together the local and regional community of the Symposium which is a world-renowned platform for intergenerational dialogue and collaboration.Tommy has partnered with the National Youth Achievement Award Council to leverage the power of dialogue for local impact.
