Kazakhstan Assistant Professor at Astana IT University Dr. Ainur Slamgazhy, a devoted Ph.D. and Assistant Professor at Astana IT University in Kazakhstan, seamlessly blends rich research experience with a passion for education. Her professional journey commenced as a journalist, ascending to the esteemed position of Editor-in-Chief at AsiaInform, a prominent publishing house. Joining the faculty of Journalism at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University marked the initiation of her academic path, progressing from a lecturer to her current role as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Ainur completed both her BA and MA at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, focusing on editing and publishing. Her academic prowess is anchored by her Ph.D. in Media and Communication from Communication University of China. Her research interests encompass New Media, International Communication, Media Ethics, and Publishing. Actively participating in conferences and discussion programs, she offers valuable perspectives on Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), media representation, and gender issues in Media.
