UK/Nigeria Founder Silver Lining Initiative - Certifed Coach - Humanitarian Hauwa Abbas is a strategic innovator, builder, and Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). A forward-thinking visionary in the non-profit sector with a strong standing built on 17+ years of proven accomplishment. In 2009, she established Silver Lining for the Needy Initiative (SLNI) in Nigeria with an impeccable track record for marrying a global perspective with local experience and implementing high-impact interventions to support community development. Her work takes her across communities meeting traditional, and religious leaders, women, and youths to support systems and engage stakeholders to be accountable and sustainable. SLNI was granted special consultative status in 2021 by the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations (UN. An award-winning humanitarian, In Rotary, Hauwa is currently a Rotary International (RI) programs committee member, The Rotary Foundation (TRF) Cadre Technical Advisor, board member, of the Rotary Action Group on Mental Health Initiatives (RAGMHI).
