MEET THE FELLOWS

Peru Economist Marco Carrasco is an economist with expertise in behavioral economics, social innovation, international development, and Asian studies. He holds a Master's in Public Administration in International Development from Harvard University and a research Master's in Economics and Management from the University of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne. He participated in specialization programs in China and India, sponsored by both governments. A TEDx speaker and Global Winner of the 2020 NASA International Space Apps Challenge, he has also served as the Local Lead for the NASA Space Apps Challenge in Lima, Peru since 2021 and was a selected participant in the 2022 Nobel Laureate Meeting in Economic Sciences in Germany. He has worked and contributed to various entities such as the Organization of American States, International Labour Organization, UNICEF, and Taihe Institute, among others. In his home country Peru, he has worked for different Ministries and Universities.
